CORBIN BURNES HAD THE BEST PITCHING SEASON IN MILWAUKEE BREWERS HISTORY
COLORS KEY | FULL BREWERS OUTLOOK
It seems like he breaks a new record each day. Corbin Burnes turned in the best pitching season in Brewers history during an outstanding 2021 campaign and is now the first Milwaukee pitcher to win a league ERA title thanks to his 2.43 mark. The emergence of Burnes to the top of the Brewers starting staff has allowed their deep bullpen to pitch less innings. Along with Brandon Woodruff, Freddy Peralta, Adrian Houser, and Eric Lauer, the Brewers have one of the most remarkable rotations in the game.
Through tremendous fastball and cutter location, Burnes has a terrific arsenal to attack hitters. Other quality Pitchers over the past few years for the Brewers include C.C. Sabathia, Ben Sheets, and Chris Capuano, but Corbin is clearly in another class. The Brew Crew hope their elite pitching staff can lead to a deep playoff run and possibly win their first World Series in franchise history. If they do win it all, a big part of it will certainly be because of the exceptional contributions Corbin Burnes has given all season.
