Originally drafted 31st overall out of TCU by the Indianapolis Colts in the 2010 NFL draft, Jerry Hughes played 12 games for the Colts, coming off the bench his rookie season. In 2013, the Colts traded Hughes to the Bills, where he made a much bigger impact right away, recording 10 SKs and 18 QB Hits. Hughes started in all but two games from 2014-2020, and consistently recorded double-digit QB Hits and TFL, showcasing his playmaking abilities to disrupt opposing offenses’ backfields.

Jerry Hughes is an extremely reliable and durable pass rusher who has consistently put pressure on QB’s throughout his time in Buffalo. His longevity is key, as his high level play (PFF’s #15 ranked EDGE in 2020), even at 33 years old has helped him climb the Bills all-time ranks. Hughes now has the 7th most SK, t-fourth most FF, third most TFL, and second most QB Hits in Bills history. Hughes has the stats, the durability, and the leadership to make him one of the greatest Bills edge rushers of all-time.
