The 2019-2020 NBA season was packed full of amazing highlights and moments to remember. It stands as one of the strangest seasons in NBA history, as on March 11 all games were suspended after players, primarily Rudy Gobert, tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. The favorites to win the Finals at the start of the season were the Los Angeles Clippers, who had signed superstars Paul George and reigning Finals MVP Kawhi Leonard that offseason. 

In second were their LA rivals the Lakers with LeBron James and Anthony DavisGiannis Antetokounmpo won his second consecutive MVP award at the season’s end, as well as the Defensive Player of the Year Award, and Motrezl Harrell won Sixth Man of the Year. Play resumed in June of 2020 at the NBA Bubble in Orlando, Florida, where the Los Angeles Lakers won their 17th championship in franchise history defeating Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat with the tweet above showcasing the top 10 plays of the regular season.
