January 18, 2022 marks the 59-year anniversary of the Al Davis era beginning for the Raiders, who was one of the most influential people in the franchise (and league)’s history so it’s a great time to look at the Raiders’ greatest players of all time.

The Las Vegas Raiders have had many homes: Oakland, Los Angeles, Oakland again, and now they’re the first NFL/NBA/MLB team to call the state of Nevada home. Playing in the Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada, the Raiders are starting to become themselves. Las Vegas is a part of the AFC West division consisting of the Denver Broncos, Las Angelos Chargers, and the Kansas City Chiefs. The Raiders were on the original teams in the American Football League and the term “Raider Nation” was established by one of their fans. The Raiders also have one of the biggest celebrity fanbases.

With their famous silver and black uniforms, the Raiders have been lucky enough to win three Super Bowls in their lifetime. With their famed mascot the Raider Rusher, and their renowned fight song the autumn Wind, the Raiders have everything. The Raiders especially have 30 past members in the organization enshrined in Canton, Ohio.

Creating such a dominant franchise with many amazing qualities is not easy. The Raiders have everything they need as a franchise, an abundance of Hall of Famers, an amazing location, and winning in the past, with this being said success should be accomplished. They’ve had plenty of iconic characters throughout the franchise’s history from Al Davis to John Madden to Jon Gruden and some legendary Hall of Famers comprise the Raider’s best players ever. Honorable mention includes: QB Ken Stabler, EDGE Howie Long, and WR Cliff Branch with QB Derek Carr quickly rising into consideration.
