Here is the best from January 21, 2020:

The Captain has gained the respect of his peers and baseball writers in America to vote him into the Hall of Fame (although 1 of 400 writers didn’t). He now has the 2nd highest HOF voting percentage of all-time, behind only his teammate Mariano Rivera, who is the only unanimous Hall of Famer ever. Either way, Mr. November will be enshrined forever in Cooperstown.

In the one professional basketball game on Tuesday, Kawhi Leonard squared off with Luka Doncic in a battle of Western Conference foes. These two superstars lived up to the hype. Each of them dropped 36 points and made memorable highlights (as shown below) to help their team win. Ultimately, Kawhi outdueled Luka in Dallas without his partner in crime, Paul George. Advantage: Reigning Finals MVP.

The Play of the Day was Kawhi’s dunk on Luka for the and-1 slam.

After 10 years on the ballot, Larry Walker finally received the coveted 75% of the vote and will now forever be remembered as a Hall of Famer.

Luka has made plays like these look normal this season, and it’s simply unexplainable.

The Braves lost out on Donaldson, but might’ve gotten a more productive hitter at a fraction of the total price in Marcell Ozuna. And now, they can keep their long-term outlook intact with promising youngsters on the horizon.

KP missed the last 10 games (knee), but made his return on Tuesday and threw down an emphatic dunk to let everyone know he’s really back.

Kawhi & Shamet stepped up when the Clippers needed it most to put the Mavs away. Dallas made it a 3-point game after JaMychal Green missed 2 free throws, so it was still a game, but without these two big shots, LA wouldn’t have won this game.

Former Washington Redskins HC Jay Gruden will now become the new Jacksonville Jaguars Offensive Coordinator, and call plays for Nick Foles, Leonard Fournette, and the Duval gang.

A trio of notable injuries happened on Tuesday, some more surprising than others. Dustin Pedroia has been away from the game for multiple years, and suffered another setback, while Odell Beckham finally got the core muscle surgery that was bothering him throughout the season. The completely unexpected injury involved Dallas Mavericks starting C Dwight Powell suffering a torn Achilles that might keep him out until the 2021-22 season.
