April 25th, 2021 was highlighted by a classic Sunday Night Baseball game between the San Diego Padres and Los Angeles Dodgers that was an 11-inning thriller with an abundance of bases loaded and full count situations as San Diego mounted a 7-run comeback despite a 0.007 chance of winning.  Fernando Tatis Jr. capped off his historic series with a FIFTH home run in three games while the Padres are stealing more bases than anyone in the league by far, yet also recording way more errors as well.

Madison Bumgarner threw the first-ever 7-inning complete game no-hitter during a double-header right after Zac Gallen threw a 1-hitter as the D-Backs arms completely neutralized Atlanta. Lou Will stepped up in the clutch with all 15 of his points coming in the 4th Qtr to take down Milwaukee, Steph added some more ridiculous shots to his career highlight reel during a wild win vs. Sacramento, and Washington is on their longest winning streak since they had Michael Jordan in 2001.

See what happened in sports on April 25th last year, headlined by OT Trent Williams finally getting traded out of DC, Day 3 of the 2020 NFL Draft, and some NBA teams planning to re-open practice facilities amidst the season suspension. This daily sports article includes real headlines only (no clickbait rumors), all of the best highlights, interesting facts from around the NFL, NBA, & MLB, the main games to watch, top performances of the day, notable birthdays, and a quick recap of significant events on this day in sports history.
