May 11th, 2021 was highlighted by an exciting day through sports with plenty of clutch plays in both the NBA and MLB. An efficient Andrew Wiggins was the player of the day with his 38-point performance but it was Steph Curry who came through with the GW-FG to take down the top team in the NBA. The LA Lakers are still the Vegas favorites to win the West despite a potential play-in game next week because defense wins championships as the LeBron-less LA squad proved in their clutch win over the Knicks, capped off with THT’s clutch OT showing.
The Magical Mets walked it off again on an infield knock and Gavin Lux came in the clutch for the defending champion Dodgers. Paul Goldschmidt lifted the Cards past the Brew Crew with an 11th inning GW-HR while Jorge Soler and Robbie Grossman exchanged game-changing 9th inning RBI’s. Plus, Shohei Ohtani made more history on the mound, at the plate… and in the field?
