Patrick Mahomes set NFL records with 400+ PASS YDS, 5 PASS TD, and 0 INT as the Chiefs dominated the Raiders in Vegas on SNF while the Lions tied the Big Ben-less Steelers for their first non-loss of 2021. Washington pulled off the huge upset against Tom Brady’s reigning champs while New England’s Mac Jones obliterated the Browns. 

Cam Newton came back to Carolina with a record-breaking return plus Steph Curry dazzled in his hometown of Charlotte. Jamal Agnew added another big TD to set a NFL record, Buffalo is off to their greatest offensive season in franchise history, and the Cowboys had one of their best first halves ever. Philadelphia put in work against Denver, Patty Mills made history off the Nets bench, and CP3 cooked a defender with a nutmeg bucket.

2006: New Orleans Hornets SF Peja Stojakovic became the 1st player to score his team’s 1st 20 points in NBA history. Stojakovic finished with a career-high 42 points

1993: Miami Dolphins HC Don Shula became the NFL’s all-time wins leader with his 325th victory, a 19-14 defeat of the Philadelphia Eagles. Shula finished with 328 career regular-season Wins which still stands as the NFL record

1985: Milwaukee Brewers released HOF RP Rollie Fingers, the all-time Saves leader (341), all but ending his MLB career

1943: Chicago Bears QB Sid Luckman set a NFL record with 7 PASS TD and was the 1st to surpass 400 PASS YDS in a single game in a 56-7 win over the Giants. Nobody has surpassed 7 PASS TD in a game to this day
