October 17th, 2021 was remembered by the Braves second consecutive walk-off to start the NLCS as Austin Riley played another big role with the game-tying RBI but this time, the GW was off Eddie Rosario’s bat (and off Corey Seager’s glove). Some chaotic endings took place in NFL Week 6 with Mac Jones and Dak Prescott trading late blows, TJ Watt taking over in OT vs. the Geno-Smith led Seahawks, Kirk Cousins and Sam Darnold dueling in the clutch, and Jacksonville getting its first win in London thanks to a GW-FG.

Aaron Rodgers claimed he “owned [Chicago] all his fucking life” after scoring the game-sealing TD in what could be his last game in Chicago as the Packers QB. Patrick Mahomes’ Chiefs rebounded from an awful first half with an explosive second half to pull off a blowout win in DC while a first half Hail Mary wasn’t close to enough for a Cleveland win over the Cardinals. Ja’Marr Chase is the clear ROY favorite, Lamar made history, Derek Carr balled out in his first game without Jon Gruden, and Carson Wentz showed old MVP flashes.

See what happened in sports on October 17th last year, headlined by the Rays winning the AL Pennant after almost blowing a 3-0 series lead and the Dodgers forcing an NLCS Game 7 fueled by Corey Seager and Justin Turner‘s early heroics as well as what happened in sports on October 17th, 2019 ft. George Springer & Carlos Correa‘s early 3-run homers which led the Astros to a 3-1 lead in the ALCS .
