1961: With a 48-point, 25-rebound outing in a victory over the Los Angeles Lakers, Philadelphia Warriors C Wilt Chamberlain began a record streak of 126 consecutive games with at least 20 points, which included his 100-point outing and 7 straight 50-point games; it would last until January 20th, 1963

1960: Future HOFers PG Oscar Robertson and PG Jerry West made their NBA debuts against each other as the former’s Cincinnati Royals defeated the latter’s Los Angeles Lakers 140-123 in their 1st game in LA after moving from Minneapolis
