TOM BRADY & ROB GRONKOWSKI ARE BY FAR THE GREATEST QB-TE COMBO EVER
COLORS KEY | FULL BUCCANEERS OUTLOOK
Throughout NFL history, there have been many outstanding QB-TE duos who have left their mark on the league. Some notable duos include Phillip Rivers–Antonio Gates, Tony Romo–Jason Witten, John Elway–Shannon Sharpe, Patrick Mahomes–Travis Kelce, and of course Tom Brady & Rob Gronkowski. For a short period of time, Rivers & Gates were recognized as the best duo in NFL history, with the two combining for 90 TD, the most for a QB-TE duo until Brady and Gronkowski surpassed that total.
Currently, Brady and Gronk have combined for 102 TD, most for a QB-TE duo and second for any QB-Receiver duo ever. But they aren’t done yet. Through 3 games this year, the pair have connected on 4 TD while boasting a 2-1 record. They also combined for the most REC TD in one season (2011) when they connected for 17, and hold the record for the most Playoff TDs by any QB-Receiver. No matter when these two retire, they’ve already solidified their spot in history as the greatest QB-TE combination of all time.
