April 6th, 2022 marks the 29-year anniversary of the Green Bay Packers landing EDGE Reggie White in NFL free agency so it’s a great time to look at the top 5 Green Bay Packers players of all time with him almost cracking the list with an honorable mention.
The Green Bay Packers have been around for over 100 years and have brought some of the greatest names to the NFL family. They’re arguably the most historic franchise in all of football with Vince Lombardi leading the Pack to five Championship victories over a seven-year span, including winning the first two Super Bowls ever. This succeeded Curly Lambeau’s great reign as HC with six Championships to his name.
The Modern Era Packers haven’t been nearly as successful as the retro squads but each of their two greatest players ever were able to bring one Lombardi Trophy back to Titletown. Here are some of the names that helped bring 13 NFL championships and four Super bowls to Green Bay, Wisconsin. Honorable mention includes: DB Herb Adderley, DL Willie Davis, OG Jerry Kramer, and EDGE Reggie White.
