The New York Yankees’ updated Team Outlook after players Frankie Montas, Trivino, & Effross were all added to extend the depth of the team. New York Yankees acquired SP Frankie Montas from the Athletics for prospects SP JP Sears, RP Ken Waldichuk, RP Luis Medina, & 2B Cooper Bowman, giving the Yankees another frontline starter under control through 2023 while the A’s pickup 3 quality pitchers under control through 2030. SP Luis Severino was placed on 60-day IL.
