San Francisco 49ers updated Team Outlook after talented young Edge Rusher Chase Young was acquired in a trade with the Washington Commanders. Young was the #2 overall pick in the 2020 NFL draft and won Defensive Rookie of the Year, but failed to regain form afterwards while struggling with injuries. The 49ers will use Young as a key depth piece along their stout defensive line. Washington will receive a 2024 3rd round in exchange for Young.
