Led by a dominant outing from Adam Wainwright, the Cardinals got 26 outs without allowing a single run. Unfortunately for STL, teams need to get 27 outs before officially winning a game. Between their 26th and 27th out, the Cards gave up 3 runs that outpaced their solo run from the 1st inning.

The Nats have no problem getting out to early leads against LA, however, they struggle with holding leads as the bullpen becomes a part of the game. This time, as soon as DC took out starter Anibal Sanchez for Patrick Corbin, the lead unraveled, and the rest of the ‘pen didn’t provide much help either.

Deshaun Watson torched the Falcons all day long en route to a perfect passer rating that featured as many incompletions as Touchdowns. Watson then broke down ATL’s defensive strategy after the game.

On a primetime game that the entire SNF crew picked the Chiefs to win, instead saw the Colts dominante in every phase of the game besides QB. No true evaluator can say Jacoby Brissett outplayed the MVP, but the rest of the team let Mahomes down. Besides a few signature flashy plays, Mahomes missed some passes that he definitely would want back, and can be attested to an injured ankle. The real reason for Indy’s victory: dominance in the trenches. On both sides of the ball.

Led by Christian McCaffrey, the Carolina Panthers have gone 3-0 since Cam Newton’s foot injury caused a lengthy absence. Kyle Allen has done what he’s needed to do and the Panthers are 3-2 with a legitimate RB MVP candidate who’s having a historic 1st 5 games of the season.

Without star WR Davante Adams, the Packers entered the game as underdogs in Dallas. However, Aaron Rodgers wasn’t even the best Aaron of the day. That right belongs to Aaron Jones who finished the day with an exceptional 4 touchdowns and 182 total yards.

Despite Lamar Jackson’s awful day (3 INT) and Tony Jefferson’s season-ending injury, the Ravens were able to come out with a W. Of course, their opponent dealt with their own adversity (mainly their starting QB getting injured), but the Ravens game-winning FG gave them a victory in a game they had to overcome adversity to get.

The 2019 1st overall pick has been looking for his 1st career NFL win since getting drafted. After beating the winless Bengals on a game-winning drive, K1 finally won a NFL game.

Much of the pre-game storyline between the Bears & Raiders involved Khalil Mack. However, the post-game story became more about Oakland’s current pass rush, which generated 4 sacks for the 1st time since the Mack trade. Gruden has 2 straight victories for the first time since returning to the NFL.
The @Raiders defense had 4+ sacks in a game for the first time since trading Khalil Mack to the @ChicagoBears prior to the 2018 season.
It was also the first time they have had 4+ sacks in a game without Mack recording at least 1 of those sacks since Week 11, 2015 vs the Lions.

Jon Gruden has won consecutive games for the first time in his current stint with the @Raiders … and the first time with any team since Weeks 9-13, 2008 with the Buccaneers.
