Boston Celtics updated Team Outlook backup Point Guard Payton Pritchard was extended on a 4-year, $30 million deal. Pritchard played in 48 games last season, averaging 5.6 points and 1.3 assists per contest. He requested a trade earlier this offseason due to limited playing time, but the departure of Marcus Smart and Malcolm Brogdon has opened up a larger role for the Oregon product. He will be expected to be the primary backup at Point Guard for the Celtics this season.
