The most exhilarating finish of all of Saturday’s games came during the nightcap. Sacramento tossed an inbounds pass ¾ the length of the court to Harrison Barnes, who drilled the game winner to ruin Cleveland’s night. New Orleans was able to take care of Dallas thanks to a 18-8 run to end the game, and 38 points from Zion Williamson. New York fended off a Milwaukee squad without key players Giannis Antetokounmpo (left knee sprain), Khris Middleton (left hip injury), and Jrue Holiday (left knee contusion).

Boston was able to outscore Oklahoma City by 21 points in the fourth quarter, holding them to just 14 points, and rally to a road victory. Nikola Vucevic made his debut for Chicago, but they fell short to San Antonio on the road. Doc Rivers and Philly lost to the Clips in Rivers’ first game back since leaving after the end of last season.

Utah led by 20 after just the first quarter, and rode the hot start to yet another home win in their contest with Memphis. A 26-point lead at halftime was enough for Houston to fend off Minnesota, and Washington rode a 27-point halftime lead to a victory over Detroit, despite the absence of the league’s leading scorer, Bradley Beal.
