JA MORANT CAN BE THE GREATEST MEMPHIS GRIZZLIES PLAYER EVER
COLORS KEY | FULL GRIZZLIES OUTLOOK
While the Memphis Grizzlies franchise does not boast the longevity of some other NBA teams, there have been many players who left their mark on the franchise and city. Specifically, Mike Conley, the player Ja Morant was destined to replace, left Memphis with a number of good memories and all-time franchise records.
The former Grizzlies PG holds the Memphis Grizzlies’ all time records for games played (788), points (11,733), assists (4509) and steals (1161) and is widely considered one of Memphis’ all time greats. Since his departure, however, Ja Morant has been showing out in a major way and promises to be next up in the discussion of Memphis all-time greats. Since entering the league, Ja has fully embraced the star role given to him in Memphis.
Not only has he dazzled the crowd on a nightly basis, he also appears to be taking responsibility of a young core desperately in need of leadership. Morant is already the most talented player to ever wear a Memphis Grizzlies jersey with his ridiculous hops, handles, and overall combination of NBA skills. It’s only a matter of time until he transforms that talent into his own legacy full of franchise records, MVP award(s), and moments that Grizzlies fans won’t soon forget.
