LaMARCUS ALDRIDGE WAS THE GREATEST PF IN PORTLAND TRAIL BLAZERS HISTORY
LaMarcus Aldridge spent nine of his 15 NBA seasons in Portland where he broke numerous franchise records for not only among PF’s but among the entire organization. Among all Blazers PF’s, Aldridge has more All-Star selections, more All-NBA selections and the most games played. He currently sits first in total rebounds and defensive rebounds for the franchise among any position, and leads all Portland PF’s in FGM, FTM, and OREB.
Aldridge was an offensive machine in his prime, averaging 21+ PPG and 8+ RPG for the last five years he was with the Blazers. As for the other notable PF’s in Trail Blazers history, none stack up to the juggernaut that LaMarcus Aldridge was in his nine-year stint with the franchise and that’s why LA is the starting PF in Portland’s all-time lineup.
