Dallas Mavericks superstar Luka Doncic hit his third career GW-3PM at the buzzer in a 110-107 win over the Boston Celtics on Nov. 6th. It was Doncic’s fourth GW shot overall, and second against Boston alone. His resume also includes a GW against the Los Angeles Clippers in Game 4 of their first-round playoff series in 2020, as well as a leaning shot to beat the Memphis Grizzlies during the 2021 season. At age 22, Doncic has shown an ability to deliver in the clutch unlike anyone at his age in NBA history and is already in the record books.

Even though he has always found himself linked to the 2018 Draft night trade with Atlanta Hawks PG Trae Young, Dallas Mavericks superstar Luka Doncic has continued to show his greatness in the early stages of his career. While Doncic and the Mavericks have yet to win a playoff series together, his undeniable talent and clutch gene always give Dallas a chance late in close games.
Despite the need to add playmakers around him, Doncic has clearly shown the ability to win games by himself. This was an issue earlier in his career when he struggled to maintain the same level of production down the stretch but has continued to add crazy buzzer-beaters to his career highlight tape. The question now is if Doncic can carry the Mavericks not just out of the first round, but into championship contention, as he looks to live up to his sky-high potential.
