MILWAUKEE’S MORE BALANCED OFFENSE GIVES THEM THE EDGE OVER ATLANTA
COLORS KEY | FULL BUCKS OUTLOOK
After a playoff career-high night in Game 1, the Bucks did a better job in Game 2 of slowing down Trae Young. Ice Trae had nine turnovers on Saturday night, and couldn’t really get going offensively. Atlanta’s offense is dependent on Young, while Milwaukee has multiple players who could go off on any given night, and they showed that in Game 2.
The Bucks had four players in double figures, and this balance is something Atlanta clearly lacks. Since Milwaukee has multiple players that can go and get a bucket, while the Hawks rely on one guy, it gives them an edge in the series as their balanced attack offensively is more threatening. Even if Giannis or Middleton or Jrue has a bad game, the other players around them are prepared to step up while if Young’s getting locked up, not many Hawks can pick up the slack.
