Braves Comeback

The New York Mets bullpen is known to blow leads late in the game over the last couple years, and this night was no exception as it was Seth Lugo who disappointed this time, and Travis d’Arnaud back to his clutch antics. The Braves were originally down 8-2 in the 5th inning.

Christian Came Up Clutch

Christian Walker has filled in admirably for Paul Goldschmidt since he was traded to St. Louis. Here he stepped up once again with a bases-clearing double to take the lead in the 8th that the D-Backs never gave up.

Taijuan 1-Hitter

It’s been a miraculous road to recovery for Taijuan Walker who was once viewed as a future ace in the Seattle Mariners farm system before being traded to Arizona and subsequently suffering Tommy John surgery. He’s still only 27 years old and showed against the A’s that he can still live up to that future ace potential.

Mookie Making Plays

What a night for Mookie Betts, the highest-paid player in baseball. He collected his first home run as a Dodger and then showed off his cannon in the field with this laser.
