The New York Yankees are making history with their outlandish offensive display, culminating in a 5-HR inning that baseball has never seen beaten before. In addition to the bombers in the Bronx, there were plenty of other big blasts that contributed to the must-see highlights from September 17th. Jose Ramirez’s birthday feast and Steven Brault going the distance also played a part.

Enjoy the best highlights from Thursday’s MLB action all in one place:

The story of the day was the historic offensive performance the Yankees put on, with a third straight game of 6+ HRs that included a whopping five in one single inning. Enjoy watching the September 17th Bronx massacre.

On the other side of Gotham City, the Mets were wrapped up in a tie game up until the top of the 9th inning when Brandon Nimmo unloaded a massive dinger that went all the way to the upper deck. That’s how to make a statement against a division rival.

On his 28th birthday, Jose Ramirez celebrated the day by going on an offensive frenzy that included a multi-HR game as well as four RBIs.

On a night summarized by the long ball, the “Chosen One” got in on the action with a binoculars-worthy bomb himself as Bryce Harper continues to produce at a high level in 2020 (.907 OPS, 10 HR, 24 RBI in 47 GP).

While other home runs on this page were celebrated for their power, Brandon Lowe benefitted on Thursday from his pinpoint precision by striking this flag pole with the ball on what also amounted to another moon shot.

Thursday couldn’t be ALL offense as Steven Brault inserted his name into the Player of the Day discussion by twirling a nine-inning gem against the reigning NL Pennant runners up.

Full game highlights of today’s close games will be posted here once they conclude.
