After a tumultuous offseason that included trade requests and public disagreements, Aaron Rodgers eventually showed up to camp in what could be his “Last Chance” to win a Championship in Green Bay. It couldn’t have gotten off to a worst start after being dismantled by the New Orleans Saints in Week 1 38-3 where Rodgers had the worst first game by a reigning MVP in NFL history. However, he bounced back in a big way like A-Rod always does with a vintage 4-TD performance to defeat Detroit on Monday Night Football.

  • Most PASS TD in 200 career GP: 1. Rodgers (416), 2. Drew Brees (391), 3. Peyton Manning (381), T4. Dan Marino, TB12 (369)
  • Aaron Rodgers passed John Elway (51,475) for the 10th most PASS YDS in NFL history
  • Green Bay Packers improved to 7-0 following a loss under Matt LaFleur, outscoring opponents 234-132
  • Rodgers has recorded exactly 4 PASS TD in each of his last 5 GP following a loss
  • A-Rod has the most seasons (18) as Packers QB in franchise history, passing Brett Favre & Bart Starr (17)
  • Green Bay’s MVP QB led the NFL in GP (14) with multiple PASS TD in 2020

NEVER COUNT OUT AARON RODGERS, EVEN AFTER THE OFFSEASON TURMOIL

COLORS KEY | FULL PACKERS OUTLOOK

Even after a sure-fire first-ballot HOF career and a MVP season in 2020, Aaron Rodgers still had doubters and nay-sayers after an awful Week 1 performance. However, the laser-armed QB in Wisconsin delivered a big-time performance after a loss like he ALWAYS does. Green Bay is a team with clear Super Bowl aspirations and are looking to get over the hump past the NFC Championship game that has plagued them for two consecutive years under Matt LaFleur.

They won’t have to worry about any Super Bowl or NFC Championship if they played like they did in Week 1 against the Saints, but the 2020 NFL MVP put the haters and his NFC peers on red alert that the sheriff is still in town and that the 37-year-old should never be counted out, even after all of the offseason turmoil. With two studs in Devante Adams and Aaron Jones around him along with a stout Offensive Line in place, the Packers can finally live up to their potential this year with this Aaron Rodgers.
