RICKEY HENDERSON BROKE TY COBB’S MLB RECORD FOR RUNS SCORED

Rickey Henderson’s legacy is cemented as the greatest base-runner of all-time. Not only does he hold the MLB’s all-time Stolen Bases record but he also owns the Runs Scored record which he set on October 4th, 2001. Ty Cobb formerly held the record as an excellent base-runner himself but Henderson’s rare combination of speed, durability, and wisdom helped him surpass the Hall of Famer and solidify his own HOF career with the all-time Runs record being a big part of it.
