The San Diego Padres updated Team Outlook after veteran DH Matt Carpenter signed a two-year, $12M contract with the team in free agency. The 37-year-old former all-star revitalized his career in 2022, as he led all of baseball in slugging percentage and finished second in on-base percentage.
