September 10th was the first day since the NBA restarted on July 30th where only one game was on the schedule, but it definitely packed a punch in its 48 minutes of action. The Lakers were on point against the Rockets which allowed them to take a firm handle on the series to put them up 3-1 despite a late comeback attempt by Harden and company. Anthony Davis was a man amongst boys and LeBron James saturated the highlight reel with show-stopping plays for the third straight game.

It was far too easy for Anthony Davis on Thursday as he bullied the Rockets’ little lineup whose tallest active player was 6-foot-8. AD made sure to flex his muscle on multiple trips down the floor with feisty finishes inside to help lift L.A. to victory.

Rajon Rondo revisited his high-level of play from his previous game with a near triple-double, with one of his eight assists riskily ricocheting off the backboard for LeBron to put down as the whipped cream and cherry on top for Game 4.

King James clocked in for his shift as the waiter for the night as he served up a couple of delightful dishes on a silver platter for his teammates to enjoy, totaling one assist shy of a triple-double.

Jeff Green was back at it with his customary per game poster and on this occasion, Kyle Kuzma fell victim to his assault while trying to maintain legal guarding position in the restricted area.

Thursday’s star-studded matchup saw Los Angeles pick up where they left off last game with their impenetrable defense and their remarkable rebounding performance which thwarted Houston’s small-ball lineup enough to take an overwhelming 3-1 Lakers lead.
