As the seeding games boil down, desperation play of a few clubs was on full display and it brought about exceptional performances from All-Stars to the most unlikely of heroes. Keeping their play-in tournament dreams alive, Devin Booker and the Phoenix Suns dominated their competition once again to become 7-0 since the season’s restart. A Spurs Rookie had a career day for San Antonio to stay in the hunt for a postseason spot. And most notably, with their backs against the wall, Lillard lifted the Blazers to the No. 8 seed in a gutsy performance versus Luka’s Mavs.

Thrusted into a do-or-die situation, Portland’s Damian Lillard stepped up to the plate versus Dallas and he had a home run of a night. Right as the ball was tipped, the clock struck Dame Time and this spelled bad news for the Mavs, as Lillard willed his team past the finish line by tying his career-high of 61 points.

Now that the NBA has announced they’ll be honoring the top players from the seeding games, classifying Devin Booker as the bubble MVP is no longer a joke. Booker added to his Player of the Bubble campaign with a third straight 35+ point game to keep the idea of the Suns in the playoffs looking more realistic by the day.

As the seeding games wind down, the San Antonio Spurs are on life support to stay alive for a play-in tournament. Rookie Keldon Johnson helped their chances with tough takes inside and efficient 3PT shooting to give him a career-high and to give the Spurs a convincing win over Houston.

In the absence of all their players who average over eight points per game, the Nets’ Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot took the reins early with incisive drives to the hoop and spot-up three-point shots.

After his brother Giannis got ejected from Tuesday’s action, Thanasis Antetokounmpo made his family name proud as he rose up with tenacity to obliterate the poor soul on the other end of his left-handed slam.

Boston, comfortably in their No. 3 seed in the East, appeared to be enjoying themselves on Tuesday or at least Jaylen Brown was as he defied gravity for a nasty throw down which prompted all defenders in his vicinity to make way.

Kemba Walker has been slightly underwhelming in comparison to his play pre-hiatus as he deals with an ongoing knee injury, but he earned recognition with this highlight as he put his defender on skates before converting the jumper.

Dallas’ intense battle with Portland on Monday resulted in them falling short and has locked them into the No. 7 seed, but Kristaps Porzingis didn’t go down without a fight as he hammered home this lob from Trey Burke.

Memphis was a squad positioned in the No. 8 seed, but now other teams outside of the playoff picture have crept up on the Grizzlies. Feeling the threat of other teams on their heels, Morant did all that he could with effective play on both sides of the basketball, but it just wasn’t enough to get the victory against an all-around team like Boston.

Coming out of the 2017 NBA Draft, very few players were labeled as having a higher ceiling than Harry Giles due to his height, length, and overall skills. He showed his lofty ceiling on this play with his quick feet, dribbling, and finishing ability on display.
