The star-studded Celtics took the first step in regaining some momentum to take over this series as every game is a must-win, down 3-2 now. The youthful tandem of Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown showed no signs of backing down in a do-or-die Game 5 with major scoring numbers. The rest of the Celtics squadron produced picture-esque passing that sliced up the Heat’s defense for some watch-worthy highlights.

The superb young Boston duo of Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown exploded like a supernova in Friday’s affair, quickly ridding the Heat’s hopes of a gentleman’s sweep. Their slithery finishing at the cup and marksmanship from deep did the trick to combine for 59 massive points and give their squad the W.

Well-deserving of its own spot on this list is the dunk-happy Jaylen Brown who showed zero hesitation as he slid in behind Miami’s defense who was not paying much mind to the rising star.
Recently coming back from a side-lining injury, Gordan Hayward showed off some of his athleticism with a fast-break alley-oop lay-in off the sweet feed from Kemba who was diming up teammates all night.
Midway through the third period, the Celtics’ premier set-up man, Kemba Walker cemented his spot on the highlight reel with this gorgeous hook-pass to find the game’s standout performer Tatum for the knock-down triple.
The playoffs are when veteran leadership is seen most, and the Heat conjured up the living definition of that anecdote as the ever-so savvy Andre Iguodala keenly cut out Olynyk on the sly roll to the hoop for a manly jam.
The Boston Celtics were in a relatively familiar position in Game 5 as it was their second elimination game of the playoffs (Game 7 vs. Toronto). The first two quarters of play were all Miami as they kept their distance from Boston, leading by 12 at one point. However, basketball is a game of runs and the Celtics made theirs in the second half, eventually building a 19-point lead fueled by Tatum and Brown’s super-charged performances.
