Monday had in store a couple of close series which were knotted up, but it was a one-sided affair in Game 5 for the Celtics-Raptors as Boston brought out a brutal thumping spurred behind well-balanced scoring. And a battle-hardened Denver team, led by Nikola Jokic, competed in a close contest where Paul George propelled L.A. to stepping out in front 2-1 in the series.

Since disabling his Instagram comments, Playoff P has been a fully operational freight train with a mindset focused on derailing the Nuggets as he relentlessly took it to the rim on Monday to snatch the lead in the series.

Even after competing in a physically taxing seven-game series, Michael Porter Jr. has plenty of gas left in the tank as he took the wheel with his high-speed drive to the hole and punched down a decimating dunk on the 6th Man of the Year.

The Celtics came out of the gates full speed and their front-runner was Jaylen Brown as he crossed the finish line with this gargantuan standing-jam to give the Raptors an indicator of how the night was going to go.

Zubac executed a picture-perfect slip on the pick-play which freed him up to be served a sweet dish from Leonard as Zubac devastated Millsap with a contact-filled poster.

The long-limbed Kawhi Leonard reminded everyone why his nickname is “The Klaw” with this fully extended finger-tip rejection right at the hoop, using only his middle finger to show Murray exactly how he felt about that dunk attempt.

There wasn’t anything Denver’s facilitator Nikola Jokic wasn’t doing on Monday as he beautifully set up his teammates in scoring positions time-after-time, accumulating eight total assists by game’s end.

The unfair crossovers and footwork of Celtics’ leader Kemba Walker made a couple of appearances in the runaway game of a lifetime as he turned the hardwood into an ice-skating rink for his defenders.

Doing his best Kareem Abdul-Jabbar impersonation, Nikola Jokic might have even surprised himself as he lofted in a running sky-hook across the lane over the outstretched arm of defensive menace Montrezl Harrell.
