This week, the Packers played up to their potential against a good 49ers team. Vintage Aaron Rodgers was on display and he made some highlight-reel plays for any quarterback, but ones that might not even crack his top-10. The Packers are fully committed to Aaron Rodgers this season and he proved again that he was equally committed to them this week despite the offseason turmoil. They had a horrendous performance in Week 1 but have looked like the same Super Bowl contender they’ve been in recent years ever since.

AARON RODGERS’ PACKERS ARE STILL LEGITIMATE CONTENDERS IN THE NFC

Aaron Rodgers remains one of the best players in the NFL and this week’s win against the San Francisco 49ers proves it. He threw for 261 yards with 2 touchdowns and made a couple of vintage Rodgers-esque throws that left the audience in awe. This close victory over the 49ers shows there’s no real reason for Packers fans to worry that this season could go sour like it was looking after their awful Week 1 performance.

The Packers have talent on both sides of the ball and they’re a borderline top five NFL team when healthy as long as Aaron Rodgers’ opinions about the team’s front office doesn’t drag the team down. The team needs to focus, stay true to who they are, and give the ball to their playmakers. Rodgers must prove his doubters wrong and lead by example so the team can find success and possibly get over the hump of the NFC Championship that has plagued them the past few years.
