‘The Best in MLB’ is a daily PSO original series showcasing the best highlights, facts, and stories going on in the land of Major League Baseball everyday.
Mariano Rivera, Roy Halladay, Edgar Martinez, Mike Mussina, Harold Baines, and Lee Smith were officially inducted into the MLB Hall of Fame as the Class of 2019.
Max Kepler hit the 2nd walk-off for the Twins this season. The other game-winning RBI also came courtesy of Kepler (June 19th vs. Boston Red Sox in the 17th inning).
Can’t ask more from a hitter in this situation down 4-0 in the 4th inning with 2 outs and bases loaded than to come through with a bases-clearing Grand Slam to tie the game.

Joey Votto was a combined 12-for-23 (.522) versus Roy Halladay, Mike Mussina and Mariano Rivera, who will all be inducted into the Hall of Fame today. That’s the highest career batting average for any active player who faced all three of those pitchers.
