‘The Best in MLB’ is a daily PSO original series showcasing the best highlights, facts, and stories going on in the land of Major League Baseball everyday.
Here is the best from a wild night on July 23, 2019:
If this is the 1st time watching these highlights, skip to 2:20 when the Yanks were down 2-8 and watch the rest of the clip. Incredible back-and-forth game!
The @SFGiants have had 4 walk-offs in their last 6 games. The last time they did that was in 1958, the first year the team played in San Francisco. pic.twitter.com/qev5hVzYui
If the 1st 6 on this list weren’t enough, Matt Olson decided to get in on the fun as well, belting a 3-run shot down 2-0 in the 9th. For comparison sake, this type of play would be #1 on the list most days.
#PlayerOfTheDay Didi Gregorius became the 1st AL SS ever w/ 5+ hits & 7+ RBI’s not to mention the only Yankee SS w/ 7 RBI in a game..he now has 2 of them. On a night full of elite performances, Didi’s clutch hits late in the game give him the edge for PoD https://t.co/nN16xSj8oF
