After a 19-3 beating in Game 1, the Red Sox followed that up with another demolition derby. Fans are witnessing an historic amount of runs being scored in the rivalry recently.

Minnesota has been setting HR records all season, so it’s no surprise they beat the Rangers record to 200 HRs by 19 games!

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. All 5 of those days were days that Nelson Cruz and Paul Goldschmidt went yard.

With 2 outs in the 8th and 2 men in scoring positon during a tied game, Justin Turner came through when it mattered.

Holding on to a 1-run lead with 2 outs in the 8th, the Cubs were in a bases loaded jam, but must’ve felt good with the 9th hitter coming up. Obviously Craig Counsell went with a pinch-hitter for the pitcher and decided to go with Ben Gamel. The move paid dividends as this at-bat proved to be the game changer and left the Cubs out of 1st place.
