Here is the best from August 10, 2019:

Yordan Alvarez had himself a NIGHT. Not only did he crank 3 HRs and rack up 7 RBI’s but he also surpass legends Joe Dimaggio and Ted Williams in the all-time record books. Alvarez himself is quickly asserting himself as a legend in his own right.

Alvarez wasn’t the only rookie with 3 HRs on the night, as Aristides Aquino joined him in a history-making night. His offensive excellence over the 1st 10 games of his career has been eye-opening to say the least.

On a night the Astros rookie set records himself, Houston as a whole made history as well.

The Mets can’t stop winning, or making exciting comebacks. This time, it was Luis Guillorme stepping up in a big way for his 1st career Major League HR. J.D. Davis would hit a sac-fly later in the inning to take the lead for good.

As if the Chiefs offense wasn’t good enough, it appears Mecole Hardman gives them another lethal weapon that defensive coordinators will try to plan against. Good luck, rest of NFL.


And Mahomes is still in MVP form 😬.

Coming up to the plate in a big situation, the son of 2004 AL MVP Vladimir Guerrero didn’t disappoint. This 2-RBI triple was the game-changer for the Jays.

Nathan Peterman’s NFL career has been…off to a tough start to say the least. After Jon Gruden’s remarks earlier this offseason, it looks possible he could make the 53-man roster in Oakland. If his 1st preseason performance in the Silver and Black is any indication, he could take Mike Glennon’s spot as Carr’s primary backup this season.

The Kings just missed the playoffs in 2018-19, but are looking to take the next step this season.

Mike Trout’s legacy is nearly unmatched for any player his age, with historic numbers, MVP’s, and other awards to show for it. One thing he didn’t have on his career resume was a HR in Fenway Park. That changed Saturday night, now giving him a four-bagger in every American League ballpark.
