Thanks to a crucial 4th down pass break up by Sidney Jones in the endzone, the Eagles held onto to their one-possession lead and now take sole possession of first place in the NFC East.
Sidney Jones with the big pass breakup in the end zone! #FlyEaglesFly
Michael Thomas has had a phenomenal season that will be remembered as the record-breaking reception season where NFL defenders literally can’t guard Mike.
That’s the record-breaker. Michael Thomas makes his 144th reception, a new single-season record!
The NFL understandably takes most of the headlines on Sunday, but the Raptors legendary comeback was worthy of a top spot on the Best in Sports, especially when considering all of their recent injuries. Guys are stepping up for the reigning champs.
Kyle Lowry (32 PTS, 10 AST & 8 REB) helped the @Raptors get the W in their 30-POINT comeback. 🔥
Hyun-Jin Ryu finished 3rd in the NL Cy Young race last year for the Dodgers, and will now take his talents north of the border to be the ace of the Toronto Blue Jays, who also added Travis Shaw on Sunday who’s looking to bounce back from a disappointing 2019 season.
UPDATE: Toronto Blue Jays have signed SP Hyun-Jin Ryu to a 4y/$80M deal https://t.co/5sezQWcYLl
The future of the Giants franchise is Daniel Jones, Saquon Barkley, and the top-5 pick they’ll be adding in a few months. If Sunday was any indication, the Giants have hit on 2/3.
SAQUON BARKLEY. 67 YARDS. SEE YA!@saquon has 108 rushing yards and it’s only the first quarter! 😳 #GiantsPride#NYGvsWAS
In a game that meant more for the draft than anything, these two teams were giving it all they had. After Fitzpatrick scored 4 TDs, Andy Dalton would go on to tie the game up with a Hail Mary to take it to OT.
The Steelers now need to beat the hottest team in the NFL and for the Titans to lose in Week 17 for a Playoff apperance after their Week 16 went horrifically. Not only did they lose to the lowly Jets (Le’Veon Bell’s new team), but they also dealt with major injuries to their QB and other key contributors.
James Conner, Cam Heyward, Bud Dupree, and Maurice Pouncey have been injured, left the game at least temporarily (or for the rest of the game).
Duck starts at QB, throws 2 picks, gets benched; Rudolph comes in, throws a TD; Rudolph injured, Duck back in at QB.#Steelers fans: pic.twitter.com/kWS04pmkqN
#PlayerOfTheDay Saquon Barkley was back to his normal self on Sunday with 279 total yards & 2 TDs in the Giants OT victory over DC. His 279 Yds set the NYG franchise-record & were the most by any player since 2016. He had 100+ Rushing yards in just the 1st quarter https://t.co/GwKJxbqVYa
