Here is the best from January 15, 2020:

Luka Doncic added another legendary game to his Most Improved Player of the Year campaign. This might be one of his most impressive ones yet considering he broke multiple records.

One of the best things that happened in sports on January 15th, 2020 was the announcement of Larry Fitzgerald’s return for next season. His presence will surely help possible ROY Kyler Murray improve into a premier QB during his Sophomore campaign.

Air Gordon made his presence felt in the Staples Center on Wednesday with these ridiculous jams. He could be preparing for another Dunk Contest coming up.

The most anticipated Rookie ever will finally make his debut one week from this day. The moment the Pelicans announced this, the Smoothie King Arena sold out minutes later (probably).

Philly had a Game of the Day esque matchup with the Brooklyn Nets now that Kyrie’s healthy, and it was playing out exactly like that. As the game was coming down to the wire, it was the $180 Million Dollar Man that stepped up when the Sixers needed a bucket… And he delivered with two of them.

Former MVP Derrick Rose has looked rejuvenated this season in Detroit as he’s the most efficient and effective he’s ever been on a per-minute basis. Without Blake Griffin or Reggie Jackson, the Pistons continue to find ways to win (albeit not very often), and the main way is usually because of Derrick Rose playing at an MVP level when he’s on the floor.

Undrafted rookie Free Agent Kendrick Nunn has been a fixture in Miami’s lineup this year and had one of his best games on Wednesday that started with a perfect 1st half where he didn’t miss a single shot.

Markelle Fultz’s jumper has yet to recover from his early-career shoulder injury, but his quickness is as good as ever that’s helping him penetrate to the basket, putting together terrific numbers like he did in this game.

Any haters of two of the greatest NBA players in the game enjoyed this day. For the Beard, it was one of his least productive outputs in a while. For the King, January 15th was very close to being one of his best days in LA, but instead, his game-winning jumper rimmed out and proceeded to join the collection of missed career game-winners his haters will play on repeat. Fortunately, LeBron and Harden have MANY other phenomenal moments and achievements their fans can replay.

It’s not everyday people see a man catch the basketball, turn around beyond half court, and drain the shot before the buzzer.
