Here is the best from January 22, 2020:

The last No.1 Overall Pick of the 2010s made his long anticipated debut vs. the Spurs. After a slow start in this game, acclimating himself to a regular season NBA game, Zion Williamson turned it up in the 4th quarter with an electrifying 17pt run where he looked absolutely unstoppable.

After an illustrious career, Eli Manning is calling it quits instead of ending his career as a backup. Next stop: Hall of Fame (Likely not first ballot though).

Welcome to Las Vegas, Raiders fans!

Just 1 week after dismissing Carlos Beltran as the new Manager (because of the 2017 Astros sign scandal), NYM hired their new skipper Luis Rojas to run the show in Queens.

The Washington Wizards almost did the impossible on Wednesday, beating the Heat at home. Of course, they came up short thanks to Tyler Herro’s franchise rookie record of 7 3PM and Bradley Beal’s unfortunate misses in game-winning and game-tying situations.

This game lacked allure entering the day with Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, and Trae Young all inactive, but that didn’t stop the Hawks from completing a historic comeback on the #2 seed in the West.

Check out the ending of the Full Game Highlights to see Fred VanVleet take over down the stretch and lead the reigning champs to an impressive win in the Eastern Conference Semifinals rematch. No buzzer beater in this one, though.

In addition to Fred VanVleet stepping up against a title contender, Dennis Schroder and Zach LaVine had similarly impressive performances on Wednesday, albeit against much worse competition. Still, if these two didn’t show up in the 4th quarter, their teams don’t call themselves winners on January 22nd.

Houston’s three scoring guards are the centerpiece of their offense, and all really came to play in the same game for the first time. Not just the first time this year, but the first time in franchise history three Rockets guards all scored 25+ points in a game.

There were some great highlights on Wednesday that didn’t crack the top 9 on the Best in Sports, but did make an appearance on the top NBA Highlights of the day like these slick no-look passes.
