After dropping the fourth 60-point game of his illustrious career, James Harden is proving to already be one of the greatest scorers the NBA has ever seen.
James Harden’s 24 FG attempts mark the lowest number of FG attempts in a 60-point performance in @NBAHistory (previous lowest was Karl Malone’s 61 points on 26 FG attempts in January 1990). pic.twitter.com/TwovrSfHcd
James Harden scored his 50th point with 5:44 left in the 3rd tonight. He is the second-fastest in the last 20 seasons to reach 50 points in a game. On Dec. 5, 2016, Klay Thompson scored his 50th point with 6:40 left in the 3rd. pic.twitter.com/ZjXZRhvFyO
Sacramento completed the 17-point comeback to end the Nuggets’ 5-game winning streak as Cory Joseph clamped Jamal Murray with time expiring in regulation before Buddy Hield and Harrison Barnes took over in OT.
The reigning MVP has come back even better this season, putting up historic numbers.
Giannis Antetokounmpo is averaging 30.9 PPG, 13.4 RPG, and 5.9 APG in the @Bucks‘ 20 games. He is the first player in @NBAHistory to average at least 30PPG/13RPG/5APG in the first 20 games of a season. pic.twitter.com/mUesRmmOQi
Harrison Barnes is the third piece in Sacramento’s offensive puzzle behind De’Aaron Fox and Buddy Hield. With Fox still out, Barnes stepped up against Denver for his first 30-point game since joining the Kings.
The rookie All-Pro has yet to make his Sophomore debut, but Saturday marked a significant step in the right direction as the Chargers are activating their star Safety.
Gary Harris is an underrated scorer for Denver’s high-octane offense, and showed his arsenal early on against the Kings with an 18-point first quarter.
Gary Harris has the hot hand early, opening action with 18 1st quarter PTS! #MileHighBasketball
#PlayerOfTheDay James Harden exploded for his 4th career 60-point game, tying Michael Jordan for the 3rd most ever (trailing Wilt & Kobe). His 24 FGA were the least ever in a 60-point game and he did this in only 3 quarters. The most efficient 60-point game ever! https://t.co/6vOXwujJ9Q
