Game 2 of the ALCS was what MLB fans have been waiting for. The best 2 teams in the league clashing with a Fall Classic ticket on the line and a back-and-fourth game proceeded into extra innings. Carlos Correa proved to be the difference-maker throughout the event that concluded with his iconic walk-off bomb. View all the top highlights from Sunday’s game here.
In the Game of the Week featuring 2 of the best young QBs in the league drafted 3 years ago, this game had a lot of eyes on it in what was expected to be a classic shootout. However, the Texans held Kansas City to only 7 points after the 1st quarter, and Deshaun Watson iced the game with a clutch 4th down conversion.
The Eagles’ depleted secondary could do nothing but watch as Kirk Cousins was dropping dimes over their heads to an easily-separated Stefon Diggs. They each had career days in a big win vs. the team that demolished them in the NFC Championship just a couple years ago.
After missing the entire 2019 season, besides the 1st quarter of Week 1, Tyreek Hill returned in a BIG way with 2 TDs, the 1st one being this epic “Moss” catch.
Darnold has been out of action since Week 2, and the Jets have been looking for their 1st win ever since. After he returned, he made it clear the Jets are a different team with him under center.
Lamar Jackson’s duel-threat abilities haven’t been showcased as much this year as his rookie season, but he reminded the world of how dangerous he can be with his legendary Week 6 performance.
In 100 years of NFL football, only two QBs have rushed for more yards than Lamar Jackson. He’s also the 1st QB in history to rush for 150 and throw for 200. We’re watching history, folks. A generational talent. Enjoy it. Seriously, soak it up and ENJOY it.pic.twitter.com/KlTTmwPt0e
The Chargers and Steelers have both been disappointments this season with injuries a big reason to blame. However, on Sunday, the Steelers were able to overcome the adversity with a rookie UDFA FCS QB, and get their 2nd win of the season.
#PlayerOfTheDay Carlos Correa was the difference-maker in ALCS Game 2 that essentially kept Houston’s season alive as he drove in the 1st of their 3 runs, made a game-saving play at the plate, and then hit the walk-off HR in extra innings. That’s 1 way to get out of a slump https://t.co/S8JafAq682
