Here is the best from October 17, 2019:

George Springer & Carlos Correa have been key pieces for Houston’s recent resurgence over the last few years and Game 4 of the ALCS was no different.

The biggest story in sports on Thursday was Patrick Mahomes’ injured kneecap. Fortunately he was able to walk off the field, instead of using a stretcher. Mahomes’ MRI on Friday has major implications for who will be the eventual 2020 Super Bowl champion.

Bradley Beal could’ve been the biggest trade target for contending NBA teams this season, but instead chose to maximize his earning potential by signing a 1-year extension to get him through his 10th season when he’ll then be eligible for a super super max extension. A brilliant business move by Beal and his agent.

Joe Flacco didn’t perform well on Thursday, but he did make this throw that somehow got past two Chiefs defenders into the hands of Courtland Sutton.

Definitely not the way he wanted to go out, but CC Sabathia will be remembered as one of the best pitchers of this generation, and Yankees fans showed him love during his exit. Related: MLB Hall of Fame

Tyreek Hill is pretty unanimously recognized as the fastest player in any of the major American sports. He showcased that world-class speed on Thursday on this simple crossing route he took to the house.

DeAndre Hopkins shined a light on the adversity he and his family have been going through.

After a rough couple of weeks getting bodied by opposing Offensive Lines, Kansas City looked different this week, right from the opening whistle.
