Here is the best from October 22, 2019:

The Juan Soto legend has grown immensely since the calendar changed to October. It started with a ridiculously clutch knock, off of arguably the best reliever in baseball during the Wild Card Game. Then he crushed a back-to-back jack with Anthony Rendon against Clayton Kershaw, the best pitcher of the past decade, with the Nats down 3-1 facing elimination. This time, the Nats were trailing in their first ever World Series game until the 20-year-old delivered again. A mammoth shot against the hottest pitcher in baseball that showed the rest of the team that Cole’s vulnerable. Soto double downed with a 2-RBI double later in the game to make him the 2nd youngest ever with 3 RBI’s in a World Series debut.

With the reigning Finals MVP now in LA, the Raptors need someone to fill the void. Many assume Pascal Siakam would be a primary candidate, especially after his recent max extension, however, Fred VanVleet becoming a major contributor could be a 2019-20 storyline to watch as well.

While George Springer’s 2B in his final AB became a major topic since he didn’t hustle in what could’ve been the game-tying run, that situation would’ve never occurred if he didn’t crush a solo shot earlier in the game to cut the lead. In the process, Springer accomplished something that’s never been done before in MLB history.
