Clippers clinch the 1st Conference Finals in franchise history thanks to Terance Mann

The LA Clippers are heading to their first-ever conference finals after defeating Utah at home in Game 6. They’ve now won both of their games in the postseason without star Kawhi Leonard on the floor. In his absence, Terance Mann stepped up big time, recording a career-high 39 points on 15-21 shooting and 7-10 3PT. Paul George continued to shine without his star counterpart, recording 28 points. Reggie Jackson added 27 as well.

After facing a 25-point deficit in the third quarter, the Clips ended the game on a 75-40 run aided by Mann’s 20-point third quarter. In both of their playoff series’ this year, the Clippers have rallied back from down 0-2 to advance to the next round, this time by winning four in a row. THE 2020-21 LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS ARE THE BEST TEAM IN FRANCHISE HISTORY

LA is now on its way to the team’s first conference finals in franchise history. They lost Kawhi Leonard after Game 4, but players like Paul George, Reggie Jackson, and Terance Mann stepped up. Mann started in Leonard’s absence and dropped a career-high 39 points in Game 6.

They won their two biggest games of the year without their best player, which is something this talented team wasn’t capable of in the past. Additionally, their new coach, Tyronn Lue, is proving to be a perfect fit for them as he presses all the right buttons with a stacked assistant coaching staff that includes head coach candidates Chauncey Billups and Kenny Atkinson. The overall wealth of talent and coaching has combined to form the greatest team in Clippers franchise history.
