Jacob deGrom’s excellent pitching led the Mets to another win, as he lowered his ERA to 0.50. Jacob deGrom was dominant again, setting more MLB records

In the first 7-inning game of a doubleheader against the Braves, deGrom once again showed why is the best pitcher in the league. He pitched 5 innings, only allowing 1 hit and no runs while striking out 6 batters on the way to a 4-2 Mets victory. Jacob deGrom is off to the best start to a season in the modern era of MLB history with the lowest ERA (0.50) in the first 12 GP of the season. He also has held opposing batters to an AVG of .113, while all pitchers are batting .112 this season across the MLB.
