TYLER HERRO’S READY FOR A BREAKOUT CAMPAIGN INTO ALL-STAR CALIBER TERRITORY
COLORS KEY | FULL HEAT OUTLOOK
After a breakout performance for the Heat during the 2020 Bubble Playoffs, which led to an NBA Finals appearance, Miami SG Tyler Herro is eager to bounce back from a 2020-21 season in which he struggled mightily. As a team, the Heat could not find the same magic that they captured in the bubble, but a revamped roster that includes the additions of PG Kyle Lowry and F PJ Tucker allows Herro the chance to shine on the big stage again.
While his fellow sharpshooter Duncan Robinson frequently moves without the ball and is more of a spot-up shooter, Herro can shoot a variety of jump shots, both pull-up and off the dribble, and can finish around the rim. That element of his game makes him much more difficult to guard, even when his outside shots aren’t falling. Add in the spacing and the playmaking ability of stars Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo, and Herro has the potential to bounce back and have a special season as he’s already breaking Heat records.
