The LA Clippers headed back to Utah after successfully defending home court, but were without the franchise’s best all-around player ever, Kawhi Leonard. However, they did not back down the from the challenge, and like they did so well against Dallas, the Clips got it done on the road. Paul George was fantastic with 37 points and 16 rebounds, plus Marcus Morris and Reggie Jackson were involved with 25 and 22 points, respectfully. The Kawhi-less Clippers now have two chances to punch their ticket to the first WCF in franchise history.

WITHOUT KAWHI, ‘PLAYOFF P’ ROSE TO THE OCCASION WITH HIS GREATEST GAME IN LA

COLORS KEY | FULL CLIPPERS OUTLOOK

Paul George’s nickname ‘Playoff P’ has seen plenty of laughs due to some lackluster performances in the postseason over the last couple of years, but he has played it into existence as of late. PG13 has now recorded three straight games with 30+ points, and they were all wins with his best game coming when the Clippers needed it most.

LAC played their first game without star player Kawhi Leonard on Wednesday night, and they needed others to step up. PG rose to the occasion with 37 points and 16 rebounds, helping LA win a pivotal Game 5. As the sole All-Star left, he embraced the challenge and delivered his greatest game with the Clippers so far, putting them a game away from their first ever conference finals.
