As Dallas Cowboys and Cleveland Browns fans celebrate Amari Cooper on his 28th birthday, check out some of the best records to know about the great wide receiver.

Taken by the Oakland Raiders with the fourth overall pick of the 2015 NFL Draft, wide receiver Amari Cooper was expected to do great things from day one. That is exactly what he ended up doing when he had the best rookie season by a WR in Raiders history at the time. Paired initially with QB Derek Carr, the dynamic duo, coined AC/DC, took the AFC by notice until 2018, when Cooper was traded to the Dallas Cowboys, where he quickly resumed his domination with QB Dak Prescott.

Born and raised in Miami, FL, Cooper took his elite talents to Alabama, where he quickly became the best Wide Receiver in all of college football (2014 Biletnikoff Award). His skills translated smoothly into the NFL, where his sharp route running enriched him to become the number one option on the Raiders and Cowboys’ offenses, two of the most historic franchises in NFL history.

Even though Cooper’s team and number changed (89 to 19), his position as one of the best WRs in the NFL remained. He did not miss a beat with the QB transition, continuing to put up remarkable numbers in Dallas’ electric offense. He even went on to sign a contract worth $100 million over five years in 2020. However, two years into his big deal, Cooper was traded to the Cleveland Browns due to salary cap constraints.
