Carson Wentz came into the 2020 season widely predicted to be one of the best players and a MVP candidate. Well that completely fell apart as Carson Wentz is arguably the worst QB in the league statistically, and is on verge of being benched. Although he has been horrible, he hasn’t had much help on offense, his OL and WR have been hit with the injury bug all season, and the front office has not given him the best weapons through free agency or the draft, passing up potential stars that may have suited up in midnight green.

Here are the 5 most interesting facts to know about Carson Wentz’s struggles:

From MVP candidate, to Super Bowl champ, to now one of the least productive QBs in the NFL, Carson Wentz has suffered a massive drop-off in 2020.

Philly once had the best Offensive Line in the NFL, but with injuries and inconsistent changes, Carson Wentz has been getting punished by opposing defenses.

Ever since last season, the weapons Carson Wentz has to work with have been abysmal, often having to throw to practice squad players or mediocre NFL wideouts.

Howie Roseman and Doug Peterson were able to recently add Dallas Goedert and Miles Sanders through the draft (who are good, but not great players), but the rest of their recent draft picks have been suspect, infamously passing up on players like D.K. Metcalf and Justin Jefferson for J.J. Arcega-Whiteside and Jalen Reagor.

Eagles injury reports has been like a CVS receipt on a weekly bases.
