October 9th, 2020 was remembered for a legendary NBA Finals Game 5 that featured more lead changes in the final 2 minutes than any Championship game over the last 25 years, but ultimately saw the Miami Heat prevail thanks to big-time buckets from Jimmy Butler and a horrendous final possession from Danny Green (missed wide-open 3PA) & Markieff Morris (crucial turnover).

The Tampa Bay Rays also beat the New York Yankees in a winner-take-all ALDS Game 5 thanks to a CLUTCH Mike Brosseau HR off of Aroldis Chapman in the bottom of the 8th inning. Check out everything that happened in sports on October 9th last year and the Best in Sports from exactly a year ago, headlined by the Nats epic comeback victory in Game 5 of the NLDS with an extra innings Grand Slam and iconic back-to-back jacks of Kershaw.
