In the sequel of the Heat-Lakers Finals matchup, Miami got caught up in the “heat” of battle as the South Beach soldiers fell at the hands of Southern California’s finest for the second time. It was more of the same for the efficient Anthony Davis as he deposited bucket after bucket, and his partner in crime LBJ chipped in his fair share as well. Also, Nunn rejected a giant, Olynyk overcame the King, and in grandiose fashion, the NBA’s modern-day Superman flexed his might.

Against his former squad, LeBron James continued his reign of terror for the second straight game with unfathomable numbers across the board in the categories of points, assists, and rebounds to only confirm the notion of him being the best all-around player in the league, and possibly of all-time.

In Game 2, AD revealed the expert three level-scorer he truly is with impeccable efficiency to overthrow the Heat who were without their usual big man underneath the rim, Bam Adebayo. This 30+ point performance makes Davis the first Laker to etch two games of such variety in his first two career NBA Finals games ever (5th in NBA history).

In the midst of the Brow’s dismantlement of Miami, he was caught on the opposite end of the highlight reel as the sneaky 6-foot-2 rookie Kendrick Nunn returned this layup back to its 6-foot-10 sender.

It was an unreal display from LBJ, but Kelly Olynyk wasn’t afraid of King James on this crafty and-one layup attempt to at least put a slight hitch in the King’s plans of taking over the series.

To add an early spark to Friday’s fiesta, Dwight Howard began the contest on a high note with a double-dose of rim-rocking dunks to add fuel to the Lakers’ scolding hot fire.

A banged-up Miami Heat side entered Game 2 of the NBA Finals with the steadfast belief they could tie up the series. Los Angeles had a different perspective on the matter as King James navigated the Lakers to victory with Anthony Davis as co-pilot on the expedition, effectively defending “home court” to get a leg up in the series as LA is now two wins away from winning it all in the Mamba’s honor.
